The Little Sisters of the Poor and St. Anne’s Home have been a part of the San Francisco community since 1901. Presently, it is the only private facility in San Francisco that gives preference to persons of limited financial means. Since first opening its doors, St. Anne’s has welcomed close to 20,000 elderly men and women of all faiths, nationalities and backgrounds of society.
“Making the elderly happy, that’s what counts!” – St. Jeanne Jugan
With the collaboration of many, we have made the work of our foundress, Saint Jeanne Jugan, as much a part of the City as the Golden Gate Bridge. We strive to provide a loving home for our elderly Residents, caring for them through the last stages of life, offering them spiritual comfort, health care, and nutritious meals. We welcome you to get acquainted with our website and get to know our St. Anne’s family.
